Upcoming Dates

We're getting closer! Important upcoming dates:

March 13th- During middle school office hours the night of March 13th we will be having a DC trip meeting. It will be at 5:30. I will give you a more specific set of topics as we get closer, but types of things discussed will be rooming situations, t-shirt sizes, etc.

April 5th - The final payment for the trip is due on this day. The tour company will let you know the exact dollar amount that it will come to before that date.

May 22nd- (tentative date) We will meet again at 5:30. Please arrange it so you can attend this meeting. During this meeting we'll go over all things trip related. Come excited and ready to ask any questions you have!

Next Payment

It's February! We're 1 month closer to our DC/NYC trip! (127 days to go!) We have received our confirmation for our tour of the Capitol this week, so things are starting to get very real!!

Just a reminder- your next payment is due to the tour company on Feb. 5th. (I put it in the announcements this week for your kiddos, but I figured I better put it on here as well!)

Other Musical

Hello! More and more people are slowly signing up! Just wanted to let you know that we have 55 tickets reserved for the musical Wicked. We weren't able to get any more (it's so popular that it fills up fast!) so the second musical we've gotten tickets to is Lion King!! Another OUTSTANDING musical.

We will be having an awesome night on Broadway night! :)

Next payment

Just a reminder- the next payment of $202 per person is due to the tour company by Wednesday, Dec. 5th.

Update 11-5-12

Hi all! I emailed this out to all the parents I know of whose kids are planning on going on the trip, but just in case you didn't get it or you haven't made yourself known to me yet, here's what's happening:

Just wanted to let you know that we have decided to take a second bus to Washington DC! We have had 20 people so far show interest above and beyond our first bus, so we decided that was far too many people to cut! We want to share this experience with as many people as possible.

The more people the merrier, so if you haven’t sent in your information and payment yet, try to do so by the 15^th if at all possible. If you can’t make the payment by then, please contact Tami at Sunshine Travel to make arrangements. (1-800-926-7185 ex 42) If for some reason Sunshine refunded your deposit (you would have received notice of this) please contact them to get the money turned back in! Now that we have a second bus everyone can go and there is no one cut out! J

Also, if you know of anyone else interested in joining us- friends, family members, community members- invite them to call or email me and come along on the trip!
