Hello! More and more people are slowly signing up! Just wanted to let you know that we have 55 tickets reserved for the musical Wicked. We weren't able to get any more (it's so popular that it fills up fast!) so the second musical we've gotten tickets to is Lion King!! Another OUTSTANDING musical.
We will be having an awesome night on Broadway night! :)

Update 11-5-12
Hi all! I emailed this out to all the parents I know of whose kids are planning on going on the trip, but just in case you didn't get it or you haven't made yourself known to me yet, here's what's happening:
Just wanted to let you know that we have decided to take a second bus to Washington DC! We have had 20 people so far show interest above and beyond our first bus, so we decided that was far too many people to cut! We want to share this experience with as many people as possible.
The more people the merrier, so if you haven’t sent in your information and payment yet, try to do so by the 15th if at all possible. If you can’t make the payment by then, please contact Tami at Sunshine Travel to make arrangements. (1-800-926-7185 ex 42) If for some reason Sunshine refunded your deposit (you would have received notice of this) please contact them to get the money turned back in! Now that we have a second bus everyone can go and there is no one cut out! J
Also, if you know of anyone else interested in joining us- friends, family members, community members- invite them to call or email me and come along on the trip!

Full Bus!
I am happy to report that the latest numbers are in and we have a full bus!! We need 55 people for a full bus- 51 people are signed up and 4 are sending in their money as we speak. If you have sent in your money in since Friday and have not let me know, please email me to tell me so I can make some adjustments because our count may be off. thummell@spooner.k12.wi.us
We also have a waiting list. If you were planning to/wanted to go on the DC trip but did not get your information in in time, please let me know. I'll put you on the waiting list. Then if we have people drop out (for budgetary reasons, behavioral reasons, etc) we will add you to the trip!

The Trip Is a Go!
WOOHOO!!! For those of you who were planning to go on the DC trip last year- this is a stellar day! I've received word today that we are for sure a go for the DC/NYC trip this summer!
As of this morning there were 46 people signed up to go, with anywhere between 2-10 people still sending in their materials. Since a full bus is 55 people, this means we will have either a full bus or close to it! If the bus is full, the price of the trip will remain what you were quoted. If we have a few less people than required, price of the trip will go up slightly, but should stay fairly close to the orginal quote.
Thank you to everyone who has signed up to go- we're going to have a blast!

Just another reminder- First deposit is due on Monday. :)
Also, to avoid problems with the rooming situation I will not do the rooming list until March or April. This way if people drop out later on we don't have to reshuffle rooms.
Sometime in the next two weeks or so I should start finding out numbers of people going and will hopefully be able to update you more then!
